2020 Conference Feedback

Clinpath hosted the first General Pathology Conference
at UCity

Leading from one participants feedback who said it was "one of the most valuable, well organised meetings in the past few years" we can share that we had nearly 50 delegates in the room with others zoomed in from the UK, Victoria, America (Milwaukee), Spain, Sudan, and Zimbabwe!

We explored the world of pathology and brought together some of the leading pathological and medical experts within our state of South Australia. We started the day with a summary of the COVID-19 aged care environment from Dr Fergus Whitehead, Clinpath’s CEO, which was appropriate as the event venue, UCity, managed by Uniting Communities is a truly unique, inclusive and diverse ‘vertical village’. The world-first, radical mixed-use building brings together retirement living, specialist short- and long-stay disability apartments; a function centre; commercial, retail and hospitality outlets.

Good medicine doesn’t just happen.
It takes years of learning.

2020 had us explore the world of pathology and bring together some of the leading pathological and medical experts within our state of South Australia. With a raft of expert presenters and a focus on continual learning and development, we inspired good medicine practice and provided discussion for modern methods and techniques in pathology. We brought together the pathological minds behind histopathology, genetics, cytopathology, dermatopathology, molecular and haematology. With a special guest appearance from Dr Luan Huynh, Senior Caridologist.
