Self-Collect Respiratory Testing
Our respiratory testing service is available with a GP referral and our respiratory PCR self-collect kits.
Self-collected PCR swabs are a safe, fast and reliable way to diagnose COVID-19 and other respiratory viruses, and the self-collection method is an important means of containing the transmission of viruses to others by reducing the necessity for onsite testing.
Medical centres can request respiratory self-collect kits via the Clinpath stores order form for you to distribute to your patients following consultation. Additionally, if you are managing respiratory patients via Telehealth, self-collect kits can be collected at any one of our collection centres.
In the self-collection kit, patients are provided with detailed self-collect instructions, a swab, and details of the Clinpath collection centres where samples can be returned.
