Courier Management Update
Here at Clinpath, we are working with daily updates from key health authorities to continue to provide a valuable service to the community and our clients, whilst keeping our staff safe.
As the market demand for pathology services change, and to ensure our business can continue to operate with minimal risks to our staff, we are now taking an important step specifically in the management of our Courier staff, by minimizing the number of calls they make to each client.
We have previously asked them to limit their time within Collection and Medical Centres and this has worked well. With Medical Centres continuing to adapt their service models, we have also continued to review our own service arrangements, ensuring patient care is a priority.
Therefore, effective Monday 30th March we will minimize the number of times per day our Couriers attend each site, to reduce potential risks to these staff. Regular calls will still be scheduled but the frequency of these calls may be less than your current arrangement.
Over the coming days you will receive a new courier call card which specifically relates to your own medical practice, if your surgery is directly impacted. These new Courier runs allow us to cater for your ongoing needs, keep our staff safe, while ensuring we continue to support practices who are experiencing more demanding times during this period.
Please understand that in some instances there may be no change at all to your scheduled calls and therefore you will not receive an updated call card.
Alternatively, if you would like us to alter your scheduled calls or if you believe you no longer require your scheduled calls, please phone our Courier office via (08) 8336 2081.
Other options include being able to place your surgery “on call” if you do not regularly have specimens for collection, as we still operate our courier office for urgent pick-ups.
