Designed to support some of our most vulnerable members of the community, Clinpath’s aged care service contract provides access to COVID-19 collections and tests for residents and staff working within aged care.
Aged care facilities can contact the aged care hotline between the hours of 8am-6pm, any day of the week, to arrange a collection.
Clinpath recognise the unique challenges in providing COVID-19 testing within an aged care environment, and we strive to ensure the aged care sector continues to be managed respectfully and with care.
Following the new announcements from the Premier, regarding the SA aged care restrictions to protect "most vulnerable" from COVID-19,
…we acknowledge the restrictions for aged care workers and the fact that all nurses, medical, allied health and personal care staff will be required to wear a face mask whenever they come within 1.5 metres of an aged care resident.
Regarding the latter, we wish to assure you that both our Clinpath Collection and Courier staff will have access to the required personal protective equipment, including masks, to comply with these new state regulations. All Clinpath staff have the appropriate evidence of fluvax vaccinations, carry and use hand sanitizer and will continue to follow any directions issued by your own individual sites to maintain safety.
