Dr Nicole Sladden graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2009 and undertook her specialty training in anatomical pathology and cytopathology with SA Pathology. She completed her training in 2015, working in fellow and then consultant roles before she joined Clinpath Laboratories in 2018. She is a general anatomical pathologist whose areas of special interest encompass skin and gynaecological pathology, as well as fine needle aspiration cytology and quality assurance practices.

Dr Sladden is a fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia and serves on its local state committee. She is an Associate Clinical Lecturer with the University of Adelaide and maintains an interest in teaching of both undergraduate students and specialty trainees. She is also a member of the Australasian Dermatopathology Society, the Australian Society of Cytology and Doctors for the Environment Australia.
