Dr Nicholas Myles is a general haematologist who consults in both the laboratory and clinical setting.

His specific interests are in the diagnosis and management of thromboembolic diseases and bleeding disorders.

Nicholas graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2011. Following physician training in Adelaide he subsequently completed subspecialty haematology training working across the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Women’s and Children’s Hospital and SA pathology. He obtained fellowship of the RACP and RCPA in 2019 and commenced employment at ClinPath laboratories in 2020 as a laboratory haematologist.

Nicholas has a keen interest in clinical research and is currently completing a PhD exploring drug-induced neutropenia through the University of Queensland. He also holds a position as Senior Lecturer at the University of Adelaide, is a widely published author and conducts investigator-initiated clinical trials through the Northern Adelaide Clinical Trials Unit.

Nicholas values his role as a liaison between the laboratory and clinic and encourages all referring doctors to contact him should they require clinical or pathology advice.
