Dr Sabine Ernsting was born in Namibia. She obtained an initial
science degree in chemistry before qualifying in medicine at the
University of Cape Town.
After specialising in Medical Microbiology and gaining her
Fellowship of the College of Pathologists of South Africa, it was
time to explore the world and she fell in love with
Australia. After working in Queensland, Sabine moved to
Adelaide where she worked in the public sector in histopathology
and was awarded an Australian fellowship in Anatomical Pathology in
2009.
Sabine joined Clinpath Laboratories in December 2010 and, in
addition to her special interests, brings a broad knowledge of
general pathology based on her previous qualifications in chemistry
and microbiology.
