Nick Wickham trained in clinical
laboratory haematology and bone marrow transplantation at The Royal
Postgraduate Medical School, Hammersmith Hospital and The Royal
Marsden and St Georges Hospitals in London.
He came to South Australia in 1997,
then moved to Townsville as Chairman of the North Queensland
Oncology Service and Director of Pathology. He returned in 2003 to
join Adelaide Cancer Centre where he continues his academic
activities by contributing to clinical trials involving
haematological malignancies and teaching medical students and
post-graduate trainees; he holds the honorary title of Clinical
Associate Professor at the University of Adelaide School of
Medicine.
