Dr Malcolm Green graduated from the University of Adelaide in
1981. After training in haematology in Adelaide, he moved to London
in 1988, to work with Professor Victor Hoffbrand at the Royal Free
Hospital. He gained experience in all areas of diagnostic
laboratory work, basic laboratory research into CLL, and clinical
aspects of bone marrow transplantation and early trials of
therapeutic monoclonal antibodies. Dr Green became a fellow of the
Royal Australasian College of Physicians and Royal College of
Pathologists of Australasia in 1992. He is the Director of
Haematology SA and holds a sessional appointment at The Queen
Elizabeth Hospital. He has worked in private pathology laboratories
(Clinpath Laboratories and Adelaide Pathology Partners) since 1995.
Dr Green is the South Australian Examiner in Laboratory Haematology
for RCPA, a position he has held for 20 years.
