Executive Team

Nick Wickham trained in clinical laboratory haematology and bone marrow transplantation at The Royal Postgraduate Medical School, Hammersmith Hospital and The Royal Marsden and St Georges Hospitals in London. He came to South Australia in 1997, then moved to Townsville as Chairman of the North Queensland Oncology Service and Director of Pathology. He returned in 2003 to join Adelaide Cancer Centre where he continues his academic activities by contributing to clinical trials involving haematological malignancies and teaching medical students and post-graduate trainees; he holds the honorary title of Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Adelaide School of Medicine.

Gideon joined Clinpath in 2006 and previously had extensive experience in Queensland laboratories.

Kate comes to Clinpath with an extensive sales and marketing and medical laboratory science background. Kate was previously the Business Development Manager for commercial pathology at Healthscope and prior to that held a similar role at Medvet Laboratories. She has worked in a number of private laboratories in Adelaide and was also with the IMVS for many years before branching out into coordinating clinical trials and health studies and then into sales and marketing. Her experience extends to working in laboratories overseas for several years in London and Saudi Arabia and she has also taught skiing in Switzerland. Kate was in fact Clinpath's very first employee and is delighted to have joined the company again.

Paul qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse in Zimbabwe and continued to work with them as a senior audit manager before moving to the UK.  He spent most of his 18 years there as Operations Director for stockbroker Charterhouse Securities.  Paul migrated to Australia in November 2007 where he was appointed CFO of financial advisers Poynter Hargraves.  He joined Clinpath in April 2011.
